In the Perioperative team, we provide services across Theatres, Endoscopy, Cath Lab, Day Case Unit and the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit. We welcome nurses and Operating Department Practitioners to join our state-of-the-art facilities and help us deliver exceptional care to patients.
Our Endoscopy suite comprises two rooms and a fluoroscopy/ERCP room, where we provide care to adults undergoing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI Endoscopy (OGD), Lower GI (colonoscopy), Capsule Endoscopy, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography and Bronchoscopy.

The 21-bedded with en-suite Day Case Unit supports the care of patients requiring outpatient intravenous infusions, same day operations and diagnostic procedures. The unit admits and discharges day case Neuro/Spine, Vascular, Orthopaedics, Upper/Lower GI, Urology, Head & Neck, ENT, Gynaecology, Plastics and Interventional Radiology patients.

The 20-bay Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, provides enhanced care of patients throughout the immediate postoperative period. We provide expert anaesthesia recovery nursing in the care of post-surgical Neuro/Spine, Vascular, Orthopaedics, Upper/Lower GI, Urology, Head & Neck, ENT, Gynaecology, Plastics and Bariatric surgery. We also support Interventional Cardiology/ Radiology and Endoscopy for their post-procedural/anaesthesia care needs.
