Therapy Services

Therapy team Caregivers work closely with Neuropsychologists and Dieticians as part of the interdisciplinary team delivering Consultant-led treatment programmes to our patients. At the core of all the therapy services is the patient’s involvement in their own care, through education, awareness, empowerment and participation in their treatment. 

Departments and roles

Neuro-Rehabilitation

Our Neurorehabilitation unit is run by dedicated rehabilitation specialists, and all patients will receive highly specialist, research based neurological therapy assessments. Therapy treatment will be based in our two gym spaces with state-of-the-art robotic equipment, as well as in enhanced environments, our functional assessment unit and the patient’s room.

Orthopaedics

We’ll offer a comprehensive service for patients requiring orthopaedic surgery, with our Therapy team involved at every stage of the patient’s journey.
All our patients will receive a highly specialist holistic assessment and treatment from a specialist musculoskeletal therapy team.

Acute Inpatient Therapy Services

Our Inpatient Therapy team will support a high acuity Intensive Care Unit, Neurosurgery service and all other post-surgical patients. Working with a highly specialised multidisciplinary team, the team will offer highly specialist respiratory assessment and treatments and work with patients and their families, to design an individualised treatment programme.

Outpatient Therapy Services

In our Outpatient Therapy team, we’ll offer services in the following areas: executive health, hand therapy, cardiac/respiratory therapy and vestibular rehabilitation. We’ll work with patients and their families, to develop individualised treatment programmes which suit their needs.
