Nutrition and Dietetics

Our team of highly specialist dietitians will work alongside medical, nursing and multidisciplinary colleagues to provide evidence based nutrition advice across both inpatients and outpatients. The dietetic team will provide expertise across a wide range of specialisms including nutrition support, critical care, neurological conditions, cardiology, renal, digestive diseases, oncology, and obesity and bariatric surgery.

Departments and roles

Digestive Diseases and Nutrition Support

Working in Digestive Diseases and Nutrition Support, you’ll be predominantly responsible for the provision of expert dietetic support for digestive diseases, with the opportunity to input into ICU, provision of parenteral nutrition and input into the Nutrition Team. You’ll also collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues, contributing to the provision of dietetic outpatients clinics, with a specific focus on gastroenterology referrals.

Obesity and Bariatric Surgery

You’ll be responsible for the provision of expert dietetic support for patients undergoing elective obesity surgery, and for the dietetic management of complex obesity.Your focus will be on developing, delivering and evaluating a highly specialist and evidence based Nutrition and Dietetic service, with the provision of expert dietetic assessment, treatment and advice.

Neuro-rehabilitation/Neurosciences

As an experienced and autonomous practitioner, in this specialist dietetic role you’ll be predominantly responsible for dietetic assessment, treatment and management of a complex clinical caseload in neuro-rehabilitation and neurosurgery. You will also contribute to the provision of general dietetic outpatient clinics.

Executive Health

As a Nutritionist in our team, you’ll lead on nutrition input for catering and work closely with the food services team on ongoing menu development and coding of therapeutic diets. You’ll also focus on developing, delivering and evaluating a specialist and evidence-based nutrition service for the Cleveland Clinic London Executive Health service. Working alongside the lead for dietetics, you’ll have oversight of all therapeutic diets, menu coding, allergens and overall balance and nutritional adequacy of the menu.
