The Intensive Care Unit

Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides high quality medical nursing and all other multidisciplinary services to patients who typically have one or more organ systems failures. This takes continuous assessment, monitoring and support to prevent life-threatening deterioration.

Advanced Critical Care Practitioner

Our Advanced Critical Care Practitioners (ACCPs) are expert clinical professionals who have developed their skills and theoretical knowledge to a very high standard. ACCPs make advanced clinical decisions and specialise in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients in collaboration with the ICU team.
