As an Occupational Therapist, you will work within a multidisciplinary team, treating patients with neurological disorders including acquired brain injury, Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness (PDoC), neuro-oncology, spinal cord injury and progressive disorders. You will be predominantly working on our 42-bed, dedicated neuro-rehabilitation unit, with full provision of state-of-the-art therapy equipment, including robotic capabilities and access to a functional assessment suite. You will be part of a highly innovative, evidence-based, forward-thinking Therapy team, and be fully supported in your career development.
As an Occupational Therapist on our Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical wards, you will work with patients with complex orthopaedic and neurological conditions post-surgery. You will be demonstrating competence in appropriate post-operative assessment, treatment and complex discharge planning skills, and occasionally may have to provide clinical support to other acute services when required. You’ll be working alongside experts within the fields, be part of a highly innovative, evidence-based, forward-thinking Therapy team and be fully supported in your career development.
In our 29-bed, state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit, you’ll have access to our high tech monitoring and life-saving equipment, providing a holistic and personalised 24-hour care approach, complex postural management and seating, cognitive assessment and treatment, and AAC. You’ll be working alongside Consultant Intensivists who are experts in their field, be part of a highly innovative, evidence-based, forward-thinking therapy team and be fully supported in your career development.
